Welcome to the website for the Somerset Smallholders Association which was set up more than 30 years ago to bring together folk who have an interest in rural activities.
Whether you have a flowerpot or a farm, you are welcome to join a friendly group of Somerset-based working smallholders, whose activities cover many aspects of small farming and rural crafts, through social meetings, courses and newsletters. Members within our group keep a huge variety of poultry and livestock and many grow vegetables and have a keen interest in horticulture too. You don’t even need to live in Somerset to be a member or even be an active smallholder. |
